Traveling to Purdue to Give Seminar on plant insect interactions- Sept.11th

Gene Thompson, a former Acting Division Director for the Michigan Department of Agriculture, died in July 1997. In his memory, Sigurd and Sheila Nelson, close friends who knew Gene from his student days, have established a recruiting fellowship  in support of an entomology student in applied entomology with an outstanding academic record.

Good Job Liz!

Giving a Talk at SIP15 2014 – 15th International Symposium on Insect-Plant Relationships – Neuchâtel

SIP15 :The 15th international symposium on insect-plant relationships will take place from 17 to 22 August in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The event will follow the lead of previous insect-plant interactions symposia and study novel aspects of the relationships between plants and insects, from mechanisms to evolutionary ecology. The symposium will have a multidisciplinary perspective, and will put special emphasis on the presentation of emerging new fields and hitherto neglected areas.
